Learn More About Sweet Pea and Brittany
A little about myself, my name is Brittany Cox. I’m 33 years old. I married my husband, Alan Cox, in May of 2021. We had our first child in October of 2021 Carter and our second November 2022. My children were the inspiration on opening our business.
Sweet Pea & Co. started under the name Brittany’s Baby Goods on Facebook and out of our garage. We would do weekend sales from our garage/driveway. I started the business in hopes to help future parents be able to buy baby essentials at a more affordable rate. It’s unfortunately too easy to go to a store and spend thousands of dollars buying items needed when having a baby.
I chose downtown Kankakee because of the old school feel to it. I love the display window for my store. You don’t see things like that much anymore. I, also, love the feeling of being in the heart of Kankakee.
