Our concept of The Lush Vine began a few years ago. We have always known we wanted to own a business, but what sort of business? I am a wine enthusiast, and appreciate all things wine. I enjoy the experience you receive from tasting different wines, from a variety of regions, and the flavor profiles you achieve by incorporating foods with the wines.

A few years ago, the initial concept of The Lush Vine took its creative roots. I started to plan what I visualized the business to be; the concept, our niche, and the overall design. From there, we acted to find our perfect space and put the wheels into motion.

We looked at a few locations before finding our current place of business, here in the heart of beautiful Kankakee. It was a meant to be moment. We had toured the building with Kenny Lundquist and Marci Sadler, two of the owners of the Majestic building. When they showed us the space, we fell in love. It was perfect.

Fast forward to current days, we foresee The Lush Vine being a staple business in Kankakee. We offer unique products and concepts that you cannot receive in our proximity. We put a lot of time and effort into ensuring we are offering unique products. This includes our wine selections, wine-based cocktails, food, and the overall ambiance of our space.

We offer a wide selection of different wines from different regions, wine-based cocktails, seasonally inspired craft beers, small bites, and shareable food items. Of these foods, we do offer a few paninis, so make sure to stop in for lunch!

We are so excited to be here in Kankakee, and cannot wait to serve this amazing community.
